Read for the first time
The Mom Test by Rob Fitzpatrick
Recommended for: Anyone looking to start their first business, who is having trouble figuring out who their target audience is and what features to build for them.
What you do is who you are by Ben Horowitz
Recommended for: Anyone interested in company cultures. There are enough interesting anecdotes to make it an entertaining read even if you’re not personally trying to build your company’s culture.
Company of One by Paul Jarvis
Recommended for: People needing to be convinced to build a small business instead of the next billion-dollar unicorn. Personally, didn’t find this book useful or novel.
Relentless by Tim Grover
Recommended for: People who like being yelled at by a book that’s hyped up on testosterone. It was alright, but probably not worth purchasing.
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Recommended for: Everyone, so that people can learn to walk a mile in each other’s shoes. One of my favourite books of all time.
The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe by Douglas Adams
Recommended for: Sci-fi geeks who don’t take themselves too seriously. Fun fact: I probably read this book 8-10 times before I ever read Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.
